Course Description: Doctors of Chiropractic experience a disproportionately high rate of occupational musculoskeletal injuries due to repetitive manual techniques, sustained postures, forceful exertions, and cumulative workload demands. This course provides a comprehensive review of the most common injuries affecting DCs, including upper extremity, spinal, and overuse conditions. Participants will examine biomechanical risk factors, ergonomic contributors, psychosocial stressors, and practice-related variables that increase injury risk. Evidence-informed prevention strategies, clinical self-care protocols, ergonomic modifications, and workload management approaches will be presented to support practitioner health, reduce disability, and extend professional longevity.
