Bradycardia is a condition characterized by an abnormally low heart rate. In some individuals, this may not be a severe issue; instead, it is just their normal physiological state. However, in others, this can be a serious, life-threatening condition. The difficulty with identifying these patients in the field is that not all of them will be symptomatic, so you will need to rely on your assessment to determine your course of action.
