Course overview

Most clinicians were taught that whiplash is a simple flexion-extension injury. Reality check: it is not. Whiplash is a complex, multi-tissue, multi-phase injury, and if you're still viewing it through a 1990's lens, you're missing what actually drives chronic pain, failed recoveries, and frustrated patients. This course pulls whiplash out of the "soft tissue sprain and strain" box and reframes it through modern biomechanics, tissue loading patterns, and real-world clinical relevance, so you can evaluate and manage these cases with confidence. Whiplash patients don't fail care because they're "non-compliant", they fail because the injury is misunderstood. This is evident in the fact that imaging often looks "normal", yet symptoms persist. This course will clearly show how early management decisions determine whether a case resolves or becomes chronic. This webinar gives you the mechanistic clarity needed to connect crash physics to tissue injury, exam findings, and smarter chiropractic decision-making.
