Course overview

This one-hour postgraduate lecture provides a focused, clinically relevant approach to the evaluation of wrist and hand pain and dysfunction. Emphasis is placed on functional and MRI anatomy, common mechanisms of injury, orthopedic examination strategies, and appropriate imaging utilization in both acute trauma and chronic conditions. Participants will learn to correlate examination findings with imaging features to improve diagnostic accuracy, recognize carpal instability patterns, identify red flags, and determine when conservative care versus referral is indicated
