This course is designed for licensed physical therapists seeking to advance clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and manual therapy skills related to thoracic spine, lumbar spine, and sacroiliac joint (SIJ) dysfunctions commonly encountered in orthopedic practice. Instruction emphasizes differentiation of mechanical, discogenic, facet-related, and load-transfer-based pain presentations Through evidence-based lectures, case-based analysis, and hands-on laboratory sessions, participants will develop a structured approach to the examination and treatment of conditions involving the thoracic spine, lumbar spine, and SIJ, including their contribution to regional and referred pain patterns. Emphasis is placed on movement analysis, segmental mobility assessment, neurodynamic screening, and clinical integration of findings. The Advanced Training Series is a one-year, clinic-based continuing education program delivered through monthly hybrid instruction, including live virtual lectures and scheduled in-person labs. Content aligns with current evidence and outpatient orthopedic demands while supporting consistency, accountability, and advanced clinical decision-making.
