Course overview

This course explores perimenopause insomnia from both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives. Participants will learn modern biomedical mechanisms, including neuroendocrine and circadian rhythm influences, and TCM pathophysiology focusing on kidney, heart, liver, and spleen dysfunction. Emphasis is placed on evidence- based acupuncture strategies, point selection, electroacupuncture, auricular therapy, scalp needling, etc. and integrative approaches to restore sleep quality, regulate qi and blood, and harmonize yin-yang for perimenopausal women.
