Course overview

Men experience mental health challenges at rates comparable to or higher than other populations, yet are often less likely to seek help, remain engaged in treatment, or feel supported within care systems. This webinar explores the social, cultural, and biological factors influencing mens mental health, including gender norms, stigma, emotional socialization, and help seeking behaviors. Behavioral health providers will gain practical strategies for engaging male clients, promoting emotional literacy, and tailoring interventions that support resilience, sustained engagement, and recovery oriented outcomes for men with Serious Mental Illness SMI.
