Course overview

This video covers the substances of the body and the relationship between emotions, hormones and the organs. The substances are the building blocks from which the body is made and are blood, essence, fluids and qi. The substances - blood, essence and fluids (qi having already been covered in a previous lecture) - are covered individually and descriptions given of how they can be understood from a scientific point of view. The emotions are then covered and how they reside in the organs and the brain at the same time. The organs association with emotions makes sense when we consider their respective hormones and these are then individually discussed.
