Course overview

The jueyin channel is the innermost of the Six Levels. This channel (called the coelom) then goes on to form the pericardium, pleura, diaphragm, liver and the peritoneal cavity. The liver is formed to deal with the returning nutrient rich blood from the taiyin system of the intestines. The anatomy of this is discussed and why the liver is so important in digestion and, because of its size, why qi stagnation within will be so significant. The liver channel in the abdomen is the peritoneal channel and this can be seen in laparascopic surgery. The channel is discussed and how it moves into the leg. The pericardium and it's importance to the diaphragm and also the pleural membranes. Finally a discussion of commonly used points is given.
