Course overview
Multiple System Atrophy MSA is a rare, progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by autonomic dysfunction, parkinsonism, and or cerebellar ataxia. The disease is classified into two main subtypes MSA P parkinsonian type and MSA C cerebellar type. Due to overlapping features with Parkinsons disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, MSA is often misdiagnosed in early stages. This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive overview of the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic strategies, pharmacologic management, and supportive care approaches for patients with MSA.
