Course overview
Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disorder worldwide and is closely associated with obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome. NAFLD ranges from simple hepatic steatosis to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), progressive fibrosis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive review of NAFLD pathophysiology, diagnostic strategies, treatment approaches, long-term monitoring, and current pharmacologic options aimed at disease control and reversal of liver injury.
