Course overview

This course details the history of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and explains the principles of this therapy, as well as how to use it with clients. You will also learn the most effective settings for SFBT. I will describe techniques specific for use in healthcare settings, mainly in primary care or hospital settings. I discuss the structure for the short term sessions, as well as how to pair it with case management. I will also briefly touch on using it with clients in private practice.
