Tinnitus affects millions of people worldwide. For some patients temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction contributes to their symptoms. This course explores the potential connections between temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and tinnitus including the role of neural pathways and Eustachian tube dysfunction. Physiotherapists who understand these relationships can identify patients who may benefit from TMJ-focused intervention and collaborate effectively with audiologists ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to support symptom management.
