Low Back Pain: Evidence Based Approach to Non-Surgical Rehabilitation Enhanced by TECAR Therapy (On-Demand)
Tracking # 20-1360689
Course overview
*This listing is for the pre-recorded webinar. This webinar explores three of the most common and often overlapping contributors to low back pain: lumbar radiculopathy, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and hip mobility loss. While each of these conditions can present with distinct clinical features, they frequently coexist - creating complex pain patterns that challenge even experienced clinicians. We'll begin by briefly revisiting the clinical presentation and differential diagnosis of lumbar radiculopathy, including how nerve root involvement can mimic or mask hip and SI joint pathology. From there, we'll examine sacroiliac joint pain - its biomechanical role in load transfer and its contribution to persistent or recurrent low back symptoms. Finally, we'll look at hip mobility loss, particularly restrictions in extension and rotation, and how these limitations alter lumbopelvic mechanics and increase stress on adjacent structures. A key focus of this session will be integrating current evidence-based rehabilitation principles - motor control retraining, progressive loading, mobility restoration, and functional strength - with the adjunctive use of TECAR therapy and various electrotherapy currents. We'll discuss the proposed physiological mechanisms behind TECAR therapy, including its effects on circulation, tissue healing, and pain modulation, and explore how it can be strategically combined with active rehabilitation to enhance clinical outcomes.
