0202-0000-26-068-L04-P/T Recent policy changes have expanded pharmacists' ability to provide contraception care, including prescribing hormonal, nonhormonal, and emergency contraceptives. We will discuss the pharmacist's role in increasing access to over-the-counter and prescription-only contraceptives, with a focus on pharmacist-prescribing. This session provides pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the knowledge and tools to implement pharmacy-based contraception care services, including navigating state-specific policies, pharmacy workflow and operations, and utilizing technology.
