The Annual Alamo City Ophthalmology Clinical Conference is designed to be an important forum for the exchange of current, state-of-the-art information on clinical care and basic eye research issues. Time and location: This year, the conference will be held on April 18, 2026. Location: In-person at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. Format: 23 lectures, which are each fifteen minutes long on specific topics, and a one-hour lecture given by a guest lecturer. This equals six clock hours and 50 clock minutes of therapeutic Continuing Education. Audience: The audience will include ophthalmology residents, fellows, full-time faculty (including MDs, DOs, ODs, technicians, and PhDs), clinical faculty, community vision care practitioners (including MDs, DOs, and ODs), vision researchers, and Health Center technical support staff. The audience varies between seventy and one hundred people.
