Course overview

This case-based, interdisciplinary session examines a sentinel event in which behavioral responses provided critical clinical insight alongside physical findings. Through structured case review and guided discussion, participants will explore how medical observations, victim behavior, evidence considerations, and safety concerns intersect in real time. Designed for multidisciplinary team (MDT) professionals, this session highlights how role-based priorities influence decision-making and how coordinated communication can reduce system fragmentation. Participants will leave with practical strategies for recognizing behavioral red flags, documenting objectively, and aligning team responses to protect victims while preserving evidence and maintaining trauma-informed care.
