Eviction Prevention for Professionals

Course overview

To provide participants with a highly interactive experience that will enable them to assist tenants who are vulnerable to eviction in maintaining stable housing. The content will focus on explaining eviction related vocabulary and provide tips for how to help tenant before, during and after they may have become involved in an eviction proceeding. It will also cover how to help tenants avoid the top 10 mistakes that often lead to eviction as well as provide information about a host of community resourced that are available in Central Oho to help during a sudden-short-term housing crisis. In addition, participants will learn tips for how to help tenants with past evictions or less than perfect credit how to access decent housing even in today's challenging housing market.
