Across the continuum of care ranging from sports to geriatric care, rehabilitation professionals have an essential role of evaluating and treating patients with a concussion that may occur in patients and clients. This course accentuates the classification of concussions along with appropriate assessment and treatment interventions to serve as essential members of the patient-centered interprofessional care team. A combination of lecture and virtual laboratory structured with demonstrations and case studies will assist in immediate application of course content within clinical practice.
