Pain is a multidimensional experience that varies across developmental stages. Accurate pain assessment requires clinicians to integrate physiologic, psychological, cultural, and functional factors while selecting age-appropriate tools. This course prepares nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to apply evidence-based pain assessment strategies across neonates, children, adults, and older adults, including individuals with communication or cognitive impairments.
