Course overview

MammaCare Clinical Breast Examination Certification includes the essentials of breast health and disease and hands-on clinical breast examination (CBE) skill training. This 9.0 hour course has both online and instructor-based components. Nurses develop the knowledge and skills required to perform quality-standard breast exams by completing tutorials and quizzes on an e-learning platform coupled with skill-based practice sessions. One-on-one training sessions are conducted via live teletraining with a Certified MammaCare Instructor. Nurses demonstrate that they have met rigorous standards of sensitivity, specificity, and breast exam thoroughness with the MammaCare AI Clinical Breast Exam Trainer and patient surrogates. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, the MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiner certification credential is awarded. Certification is valid for three years.
