Course overview

In this presentation, participants will learn about the nature and context of client experiences with non-suicidal self-injury, to include assessment and treatment considerations. The mind-body connection will also be introduced as an approach to treatment that is supported by scholarly research. Finally, participants will learn specific strategies to treat non-suicidal self-injury within the mind-body connection paradigm that promote greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. Learning Objectives: 1. Participants will understand the nature and context of non-suicidal self-injury. 2. Participants will learn about the mind-body connection. 3.
