Course overview

At the conclusion of this program, participants will: 1. Describe at least two signs of impairment in the workplace; 2. Describe at least two signs of drug diversion; 3. Describe an employer initiative designed to support employees; 4. Identify the essential steps when making a report or referral; 5. Describe the law (FS 464.018) governing mandatory reporting of impaired nurses; 6. Describe at least two requirements for treatment programs for impaired practitioners pursuant to FS 446.076.
