Course overview

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus, leading to infection, hospitalization, and in severe cases, amputation. This course equips healthcare professionals with knowledge to identify risk factors, implement preventive strategies, conduct effective assessments, and provide evidence-based treatment while maintaining patient safety. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary care, patient education, and clinical best practices to reduce morbidity and improve outcomes.
