Course overview

This is Part II of Finding Balance After the War Zone. This Distinct Population course focuses on specific therapeutic approaches to working with Veterans who are struggling with the challenges of returning to home, after deployment in a combat zone in the Middle East and other high-risk areas. This course explains why Veterans of combat must make decisions about what form of intervention works for them, in the process of regaining a sense of control over their lives. Specific approaches to domestic violence and PTSD are addressed. Part I of this two-part series focuses more on the physiological changes that encumber veterans of war in the Middle East, whereas this second part of the series focuses primarily on therapeutic strategy.
