Course overview

This course addresses the pathophysiology of hepatic steatosis. It provides an analysis of the clinical value of Doppler ultrasound grading, biomarkers such as serum ferritin and homocysteine, and the correlation between hepatic hemodynamic changes and disease progression. Grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, the course examines the fatty liver patterns of Spleen-Kidney deficiency, Phlegm and Blood stasis as the manifestation, etc. and acupuncture treatment protocols. Participants will master point selection strategies based on pattern differentiation and the application of adjunctive techniques including electro-acupuncture and auricular therapy.
