Behavioral health concerns during the perinatal period are common, treatable, and often preventable. Yet inequities limit access to care and worsen outcomes for some pregnant and birthing individuals. This course explores common behavioral health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum. It discusses inequities in perinatal behavioral health care. Lastly, it describes strategies to advance behavioral health equity in perinatal care.
