Fluid & Electrolyte Imbalances: Clinical Management

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:

1. Identify the most common fluid and electrolyte imbalances in clinical practice.

2. Understand the pathophysiology underlying each imbalance.

3. Recognize clinical signs and laboratory findings indicative of disturbances.

4. Implement evidence-based interventions, including fluid replacement, electrolyte supplementation, and pharmacologic management.

5. Monitor patient responses to therapy and anticipate potential complications.

6. Educate patients and caregivers on prevention, early recognition, and self-management of fluid and electrolyte imbalances.
