This eight-part lunch and learn series will offer a one-hour ASWB (Association of Social Work Board) exam content review session designed to strengthen participants' knowledge and test-taking confidence within a focused content area of the ASWB examination. Each session will provide a structured overview of key concepts, terminology and foundational principles that are commonly tested. Sessions will also help participants identify areas for continued independent study. Using ASWB-style practice questions, participants will learn to evaluate answer options through the lens of client safety, scope of practice, the problem-solving process and client-centered values. Emphasis will be placed on distinguishing between distractors and the most appropriate first or next social work action. Objectives: After completing this training, participants will be able to: 1. Summarize key concepts, terminology and principles relevant to the session's ASWB content area and have information for future studying. 2. Evaluate answer options using safety, scope of practice, the problem-solving process and client-centered principles. 3. Participants will apply test-taking strategies to select and justify the best response to practice exam questions.
