Cannabis Education for the Healthcare Professional

Course overview

Course Description: This one-hour course will describe the current state of medical and recreational cannabis (marijuana) use in the United States and specifically describe the program and products available in New Jersey. The healthcare professional will gain insight and knowledge into how cannabis is consumed and why it is prescribed medically. (Note: This course will also be offered to dental professionals.) Objectives: After completion of this course, the participant will be able to: *Describe the applications (oral, topical, inhalation) of cannabis and the side effects associated with consumption and over consumption of it. *Identify CBD-infused products *Describe the New Jersey program, products and medical use of cannabis.
