Course overview
CASA volunteers take on significant responsibility as advocates for the best interests of the children they serve. To be effective, they build meaningful relationships with these children and often become a consistent, trusted adult presence in their lives. While this connection is essential, it also presents challenges, particularly when it comes to maintaining appropriate boundaries. This training will explore both explicit and implicit boundaries that CASA volunteers must uphold. It will also address common gray areas, using real-life examples to help volunteers recognize and navigate situations where boundaries may be less clear.
