Course overview

Accurate clinical documentation is essential to patient safety, quality care, legal compliance, and regulatory adherence. This course provides healthcare professionals with an in-depth understanding of documentation standards, legal considerations, risk management, interdisciplinary communication, pharmacologic record-keeping, and patient/family education. Participants will learn to create accurate, comprehensive, and defensible clinical records while avoiding errors, protecting patients rights, and ensuring compliance with all-state nursing and federal regulations.
