WRIST PAIN AND CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

Course overview

Participants learn biomedical and Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnoses and treatment protocols for wrist pain. Participants explore TCM differential diagnostics and treatments for median nerve compression (carpal tunnel syndrome) and ulnar nerve entrapment at the cubital tunnel and Guyon’s canal. Licensed acupuncturists will learn the pathophysiology involved in wrist pain and learn the appropriate acupuncture and herbal medicine formulas for the resolution of the condition. A case study is presented to further enhance the educational experience.
