Course overview

The Mind-Spirit relationship between the Heart and Kidney [Fire and Water] mediated by the Triple Burner is central to the consideration of most mental-emotional presentations in the clinic. This course discusses this association as described in Chinese medicine, and adds to the old understanding a new perspective based on the clinical experience of Dr. Leon Hammer. Clinical manifestations of Kidney-Heart Disharmony are discussed including their determination of life’s path, sleep, ADHD, anxiety, fear, panic, phobia. Suggestions for acupuncture points and herbal formulas are presented.
