Learn moreCourse overview
Effective management of bleeding and coagulopathy requires timely and comprehensive assessment of hemostasis. Traditional coagulation tests provide limited information about the dynamic process of clot formation and platelet contribution to clot strength. Viscoelastic testing offers a whole-blood evaluation of clot development, while platelet function assays provide additional insight into platelet-mediated clot stability.
