Dr. James Decker has drawn upon his personal and professional experiences as a healthcare executive to author a best-selling book, Reviving the Heart of Leadership. Written for leaders in any field, Dr. Decker offers the basis of compassion and servant leadership as a better way to lead. Consumers in today's world are being challenged to navigate the healthcare maze, health insurance quagmire, increasing costs, and the feeling of just being a "number," shuffling through the assembly line. Well-meaning leaders may not realize the potentially adverse damage caused by outdated autocratic leadership styles.
