This intermediate-level course equips healthcare professionals with evidence-informed strategies to identify, screen, and refer individuals at risk for suicide across diverse clinical settings. Participants will learn to apply validated screening tools, interpret risk levels, conduct brief safety interventions, and initiate appropriate referrals. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, trauma-informed communication, legal/ethical considerations, and culturally responsive care.
