This course examines the biomedical mechanisms underlying myofascial adhesions and their clinical application in plantar fasciitis. It explores the pathophysiology of chronic soft tissue injury, with a focus on cellular processes involved in fascial fibrosis and adhesion formation. The course analyzes the interrelationship between the plantar fascia, lower limb biomechanics, and the meridian system from an integrative perspective. It also evaluates acupuncture techniques, including round needle (Yuan Zhen) and other needling methods, in releasing myofascial adhesions.
