In this course you will learn the latest nutritional and lifestyle interventions which are supported by the current scientific literature with an emphasis on improving patient physical function. You will review the underlying mechanisms of the physiological processes involved in physical activity and musculoskeletal function. You will learn to identify clinical scenarios that may signal the need for nutritional therapy as an adjunct to your chiropractic and rehab protocols. You will learn appropriate examination procedures and history taking to identify possible nutritional needs as well as metabolic conditions that require referral to other medical professionals.
