Course overview

Now more than ever, it is important that healthcare professionals be prepared to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) throughout the lifespan. ADHD is no longer seen as a childhood disorder and it is likely that many adults affected by ADHD are undiagnosed. This intermediate-level course has been developed to educate healthcare professionals, such as nurses, social workers, counselors, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists, and to bring clarity and a deeper understanding to the research, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD in individuals of all ages and various life stages.
