This asynchronous, self-paced course provides an intermediate-level review of wound care principles for nurses in clinical, outpatient, and long-term care settings. Participants will build upon foundational knowledge to assess, classify, and manage acute and chronic wounds using evidence-based practices. Emphasis is placed on wound healing physiology, assessment techniques, infection prevention, dressing selection, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
