Losses that are unique to Immigrants and diverse cultural groups experiences have been overlooked or unacknowledged, leading many clients to experience Disenfranchised Grief. In this training, Tiffani Dilworth we'll help you explore the categories of Disenfranchised Grief to be able to conceptualize when it has become "complicated" in our client's life. Participants will gain tools and a better understanding of challenges diverse cultures and subcultures experience to help create a safe space for clients to freely express and process their experiences. This training will empower Clinicians to better support Immigrant's diverse struggles and recognize how Migratory Grief and Disenfranchised Grief are common experiences.
