Course overview

This learning activity examines digital health literacy as an essential nursing competency, covering electronic health records, telehealth, artificial intelligence, and remote patient monitoring integration into practice. Based on the TIGER framework, the content addresses digital health disparities, algorithmic bias, and culturally appropriate interventions while teaching nurses to leverage technology as an extension of clinical expertise, assess digital barriers, and advocate for equitable access to technology-enabled healthcare services.
