Course overview

This course covers common avian and exotic pathologies encountered by veterinarians, as well as addressing burn out in the veterinary profession. Dr. Petritz will discuss common emergencies, radiographs, and euthanasia of exotic animals. Dr. Ozawa will discuss anesthesia, pain management, neurologic diseases, and clinical pathology of exotic animals. Dr. Weinheimer will discuss burnout in the veterinary profession and how to cope by leading attendees through self-assessments and developing personalized action plans. This will be an interactive medical & non-medical presentation. This is a 3 day conference that will provide 15 hours of RACE approved CE credits (12 hours medical & 3 hours non-medical).
