Course overview

In this lecture, antiviral and antibiotic medications commonly used to treat diseases of the eye and adnexa will be reviewed in detail. Format for teaching will be by case presentation. The attendee will gain a knowledge base of each medication, appropriate use, and contraindications as well as interactive case presentation using disease states commonly seen in primary eye care settings. A review of allergies and pregnancy and other considerations will also be covered.
