Course overview

Tick-borne illnesses extend beyond Lyme disease and can present a diagnostic challenge when Lyme testing is negative. In this webinar we will use four case studies to explore key diagnostic considerations, highlight the role of geographic exposure history, and demonstrate the utility of multiplex testing panels. This session will equip clinicians with insights to recognize alternative vector-borne and zoonotic infections with greater confidence. Objectives: 1. Discuss diagnostic considerations in the setting of a negative Lyme disease test. 2. Describe the utility of multiplex panels based on geographic exposure history. 3. Identify key clinical clues that point to alternative vector-borne and other zoonotic infections.
