This asynchronous, self-paced course provides registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPN/LVNs) with foundational knowledge and practical skills to recognize, assess, and respond to depression and anxiety in diverse patient populations. Learners will explore clinical presentations, risk factors, screening tools, communication strategies, and appropriate escalation pathways. Emphasis is placed on early identification, patient-centered care, safety considerations, and interprofessional collaboration.
