Diagnostic Slide Seminar

Course overview

Participants will have the opportunity to make diagnostic decisions and compare their conclusions with those of nationally recognized experts. Challenging and intriguing cases will be presented through slides and detailed histories for discussion. This session offers a chance to develop thought-provoking diagnoses and gain diverse perspectives before the final diagnoses are revealed. Target Audience This educational activity is designed for pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students and other members of the cytopathology community. Learning Objectives Formulate diagnostic decisions for complex and challenging cases using provided slides and case histories. Compare their diagnostic reasoning with that of nationally recognized experts to identify areas of agreement and divergence. Analyze diverse perspectives on case interpretations prior to learning the final diagnoses. Enhance critical thinking skills in pathology or clinical decision-making through discussion of thought-provoking cases.
