This course equips nurses with practical strategies for applying adult learning theory in clinical teaching environments. Participants will explore foundational theories of adult learning, including Knowles andragogy, experiential learning, and reflective practice, and learn how to apply these concepts to patient education, peer mentoring, and clinical instruction. Emphasis is placed on engagement strategies, assessment of learner readiness, cultural considerations, and evaluation of learning outcomes. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and deliver effective, learner-centered clinical teaching experiences.
