The Nectar of Plants: Essential Oils and Chinese Medicine Series - Course 2

Course overview

This course will teach students to use essential oils easily and effectively in a healthcare practice. Chinese medicine principles will be presented to form the basis for discussion of functions and application of specific essential oils in the treatment of common diseases and disorders. Part II focuses on mental-emotional disorders including anxiety, stress and sleep disruption involving the ying qi, the blood and the Heart, Small Intestine, Kidney and Bladder systems. Over the course of four 2.5 hour sessions, we will explore 20-25 oils in the context of various mental-emotional disorders. Presentation will be by video broadcast and includes a discussion of cases from current Chinese medicine practice.
